ChartSpan's Sales Development Representative is responsible for qualifying leads in the initial stages of the sales funnel.  They will be responsible for prospecting for leads, creating and launching email campaigns through email marketing tools, contacting leads, qualifying them as prospects, educating prospects about our services, and scheduling meetings for the sales team. This role is the first touch point for prospects and sets the tone for the sales cycle.  Performance is heavily determined based on quota achievement and compensation scales accordingly.

Job Objectives

  • Respond, engage and qualify leads that come in through different sources

  • Engage prospects to expand awareness and educate in order to create interest

  • Schedule Discovery Meetings for Sales team 

  • Effectively partner and collaborate with Sales and Marketing team 

  • Properly manage territories to maximize production

  • Able to impressively engage in subject matter dialogue over the phone and through email

  • Regularly meet and or exceed sales goals and quotas

  • Leverage CRM and Marketing Automation tools to setup and organize a pipeline

  • Consistant documentation in CRM 

  • Daily, high volume outbound phone campaigns 

  • Respond to prospect requests within all SLA timeframes

 

Job Requirements

  • The ability to write clear and concise emails

  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written)

  • Experience with Salesforce and Pardot preferred

  • Experience with Excel preferred

  • Time organizational skills

  • Proven track record of consistently meeting quotas and deadlines

  • Prospecting experience preferred

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required

  • Sales Experience preferred

  • Detail Oriented
